Staying the Course: Helpful Well-Being Tips

There are a few things we often take for granted, good health being one of them. Here you will find helpful hints in order to stay on top of your well-being game.  


Umcka Lemon Drink  

This is my nightly drink to keep away any wayward bugs from catching hold. Made from African geranium this formula from Nature’s Way is clinically proven to shorten the duration of a cold, it also soothes respiratory tissues. I believe it gives an extra layer of protection as the seasons change. Dry Idaho air anyone?  


Morgan’s Elderberry Elixir 

Spice up your next serving of elderberry syrup with this recipe, chock full of health boosting benefits.  

  • 8 – 12 oz hot water 

  • 1-2 Tbs Elderberry syrup  

  • 1 tsp grated ginger 

  • ½ tsp cinnamon 

  • ½ tsp clove 

  • 1-2 tsp Manuka or local honey  

  • Simmer on the stove top for 5 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before pouring into your favorite mug. Sip with your bestie at your side, which may be the Netflix clicker or a fuzzy hound. Relax into the moment.  


Menthol Cough Drops
