Juicy Grilled Beef Kebabs

 

Fired up for flavor! All the ingredients in these Juicy Grilled Beef Kebabs came straight from the Boise Co-op—fresh, local, and ready for your next BBQ. Savor every bite with this easy, crowd-pleasing marinade!

Ingredients:

  • Marinade For Beef Kebabs:

    • 1/4 cup avocado oil, or olive oil

    • 1/4 cup soy sauce

    • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed

    • 1 1/2 tablespoons red wine vinegar

    • 2 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

    • 2 tablespoons minced garlic

    • 1 tablespoon honey

    • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

    • 1 teaspoon onion powder

    • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

    • 1 teaspoon black pepper

    For Steak Kebabs:

    • 2 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes

    • 2 thin zucchinis, cut into 1 1/2 inch rings

    • 2 red bell peppers, cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes

    • Sea salt to taste

    • avocado spray

Instructions:

Into a large glass mixing bowl, combine all of the marinade ingredients, and give it a good mix.

Add beef to the marinade and mix everything together, cover, and let it marinate for at least 3 hours, or overnight.

Preheat the grill to medium/high heat, about 450F - 500F.

Add beef and veggies to the skewers following this order: beef, zucchini, bell pepper - repeat.

Spray beef kebabs with avocado oil, and season with salt, then grill on preheated and greased grill for 8-9 minutes, turning occasionally, until the internal temperature reaches 135°F for medium rare or until desired doneness.

Serve with mashed potatoes and Caesar salad.
