What's Good Right Now?

With over 3500 different bottles, we have wines from around the world. One region that offers value priced, exciting choices is Chile. They’ve been producing wine there since the 16th century, but with the introduction of new technology in the 1980s, Chile experienced something of a renaissance. Here are some of our favorites:

Vistalago 2016 Mezcia Blanca $14.99
“A very original blend, not exuberant, more reticent, insinuating, with a strong personality and quite different. You don't get the same aromas you find in the majority of whites. It has complexity and a serious palate with freshness and depth. It ends dry. A white of strong personality.” 91 points, Wine Advocate

Primus 2011 Carmenere $17.99
“Cherry, mocha and sexy oak spices on the nose. Fresh dark berry and cherry flavors are brightened by notes of cinnamon and clove, picking up a peppery quality on the back end. Appealingly plump and sweet but also lively, with suave spicecake and cola notes on the clinging finish.” 89 points, Vinous

Refugio 2016 Pinot Noir $22.00
“This is very fresh, focused and complex even if it's still so obviously young. It's very tasty and elegant, with symmetry and chiseled flavors.” 93 points, Wine Advocate

Repour 4pks $8.99 Singles $2.49
For those of you who want a glass of your favorite wine but are not sure you'll be able to finish the bottle before it goes bad, we have the perfect remedy. The Repour stopper is the easiest, most effective wine preserver there is. Invented and developed by chemist and founder Tom Lutz, Repour is the first of its kind to actively and continuously preserve original aroma and taste by eliminating all of the oxygen from your wine. No oxygen means your wine doesn’t degrade. Instead of throwing out a bottle that has gone bad, or messing with complex and ineffective vacuums, pumps, cartridges, batteries, and other contraptions, simply insert the Repour wine stopper in place of the bottle’s original cork, and preserve the wine for the life of the opened bottle. Your favorite wine, simply saved and perfectly preserved. Enjoy every glass.
