Cellar 616 is dedicated to crafting quality wines using traditional methods to capture and preserve the unique character of each variety and vintage. The Snake River Valley of Idaho has a deep-rooted history of growing grapes. This region has numerous environmental qualities. The well-drained and fertile ancient volcanic soils that are high in minerals, along with the dramatic temperature variations from hot days to cool nights, typical of high desert climates, produce grapes with exceptional varietal character.
