2015 Pratsch Rosé, $12.99

Stefan Pratsch has been making wine from his family’s vineyards since he was 15. The Pratsch family has been farming land in Austria’s Niederösterreich for eight generations. Stefan’s father, Wilhelm, took over the winery in the 1980s, converting the property to organic in the 90s. This stylish rosé is a blend of four different grapes: Saint Laurent, Blauberger, Zweigelt and Pinot Noir. Strawberry and pear aromas are backed by mineral and clover. The flavors are crisp and lively with just a hit of spritz. You get strawberry and peach with a touch of rhubarb and mineral coming through on the racy finish.
