This wine had me at the nose, with its enticing aromas of stone fruit, apricot and a hint of salinity. Those aromas made me excited to taste it and it did not disappoint. It tantalizes the palate with flavors of fresh apricot, lemon meringue and melon which are laced with a minerality and salinity and a touch of white pepper that adds zip to the long finish. This wine has more depth than a typical entry level Gruner and is worth the price. Enjoy.
