Summer may be over, but as far as I’m concerned that’s no reason to put away the rosés, and this blend of Cinsault and Syrah from the south of France is the perfect choice as we transition to the cooler weather of fall. Full disclosure: I drink rosé all year round. It’s my summer red and my winter white, and it’s oh-so-versatile. This Eugénie, with its ripe strawberry fruit flavors balanced by crisp acidity, will pair well with a wide variety of foods. Try it with rich autumn stews or soups, both grilled meat and fish, and makes a great match for mac and cheese. Absolutely lovely on its own, as well—definitely a good reason to keep drinking pink.
