2012 Regis Bouvier Bourgogne Pinot Noir, $18.99

This wine has a lovely aroma of cherry pie with a hint of spice. When I first opened the bottle the wine was fairly tight, showing a lot of bracing acidity that somewhat overpowered the fruit. But, as it opened up the bright cherry flavors started to shine through with just enough earthiness and spice to make it oh-so nice. Day two of this wine was even better, so I suggest decanting, or hanging on to it for a while, as it should improve with time in the bottle.
