Every time I have a good dry Riesling I am reminded that I do not drink them often enough. They are perfect with so many food choices that it’s too bad so many people think of Riesling only as a sweet wine. This one is definitely not. Superb fresh apricot and lime aromas give way to a bright mineral-driven mid palate and a zingy, crisp lemon infused finish. This will pair with chicken with mustard, garlic shrimp and even sausages—a great food wine and a change of pace from the usual Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc flavors that we tend to fall back on so often.
