I am packing two popping pistols for my wine pick this month. Sparkling wines from Raventos i Blanc: Brut L'Hereu, $18.99 and Rosé de Nit, $24.00. These methode traditionelle wines are about as good as it gets without going to Champagne, and they are about half the price of their French counterparts. The Brut is vibrant, bright and crisp with green apple, green melon and lime flavors that sparkle from the glass. The Rosé is more refined and elegant with a creamy texture and a beautiful color. This wine just sings—so good it is dangerous.
