We haven't carried this wine for a few years, so I was excited to see that we had gotten it back in. Always delicious and the 2011 is no exception. A blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre, a flood of aromas meet the nose of this well-structured, yet effortlessly approachable southern French red: the unmistakable notes of garrigue, wood spice, black olives, cassis and blackberry jam. The mouth is silky and textured, providing a serious mouthful of flavor that doesn't seem to quit. We didn't receive many cases, so get it while you can.
