France's Côtes du Rhône is one of our favorite wine regions. And while you can spend a lot of money on a Chateauneuf du Pape or a Côte-Rôtie, there are any number of exceptional, value priced offerings. This time around we picked a quintet of our favorite, oh-so-reasonably priced entries. Here's the line-up:
- Little James' Basket Press Blanc
- Mont-Redon Côtes du Rhône Réserve Blanc
- Little James' Basket Press Rouge
- Maison la Berthaude Côtes du Rhône
- Mas de Gourgonnier Rouge
Okay, that last one is from Les Baux de Provence, not the Rhône, but it's really good, made mostly with Rhône varieties, and it's the only region in France that is farmed biodynamically. As always, all six wines will be 15% off on both days of the tasting.
