Wednesdays With Wine @ the North End Boise Co-op Wine Shop

We are celebrating Oregon Wine month this Wednesday by featuring one of its true pioneers: Erath. In 1968, after completing course work at UC Davis, Dick Erath moved his family to the Dundee Hills of Oregon where he planted 23 varieties of grapes. Pinot Noir flourished, and in the beginning, an unheated logger's cabin served as both home and a make-shift winery. The first commercial release was in 1972, just 216 cases, and the rest, as the say, is history. This Wednesday, Sara Hansen from Craig Stein Beverage, will be on hand to offer five different Erath wines. As always, they'll all be 15% off on the day of the tasting. Here's what she'll be pouring:

Quail Run Pinot Blanc

  • Pinot Gris
  • Willakia Chardonnay
  • Rosé of Pinot Noir
  • Willakia Pinot Noir
