Each month a local naturopathic physician joins us for a presentation in the conference room behind the Pet Shop
Dr. Rodgers is a Board-certified naturopathic physician and certified acupuncturist. After obtaining a bachelor's degree in biology and master's in environmental science, she graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences, a federally recognized, accredited four-year naturopathic medical program. After naturopathic school, Dr. Rodgers completed a naturopathic family practice residency where she completed suprvisory rotations in women’s health, environmental medicine, pediatrics and acupuncture. During her residency, Dr. Rodgers taught hydrotherapy at SCNM and gave public lectures, including one to the Mayo Clinic regarding the environmental hazards of surgical techniques. Her post-doctoral training has included environmental medicine and intravenous vitamin/chelation therapy. She holds chelation therapy certification from the American College for Advancement in Medicine.
