In the Spring of 2016 Café Mulé began serving pour over and cold brew coffee to the Boise community with a weekly trailside coffee service in the Boise Foothills. Matty and Richard the mule hike their coffee shop miles into the trails for any and all who choose to adventure to them!
What began as a unique event series to encourage community, outdoor activity, and an appreciation of the beautiful surroundings we live in evolved into a full-fledged coffee company by Fall of 2016 with Café Mulé focusing on the bottling of their cold brew coffee that was getting great reviews on the trails. Their focus is the creation of a premium cold brew coffee, crafted from Idaho roasted specialty coffees. Café Mulé’s original bottled cold brew is cold steeped from a Thai coffee bean that is custom roasted by Seven Seeds Coffee Roasters from Emmett, Idaho.
