Join guest chefs Justin Thain and Dawn White for a demonstration class on making and forming pizza dough, preparing homemade sauce and choosing fresh ingredients for toppings.
The night will include instructions and samples of the following pizzas:
- Wild mushroom, kale and fontina cheese
- Pizza Napoli (AKA olive, caper & basil, with anchovies optional)
- Fennel sausage, onion and basil
Presented along with a grilled peach and burrata salad and homemade ice cream to top it off!
Class will include one glass of wine per person.
Justin is well-known for his creations at Red Feather and Bittercreek restaurants in Boise and currently combines his unique kitchen skills with his compassion for troubled youth as the Catering Chef at Life's Kitchen.
Dawn's love of the kitchen and everything surrounding it has been influenced by her mother and grandmother. She credits the two of them with instilling in her the passion and enthusiasm she brings with her to all things food. Dawn has been gardening since the age of five and has a background in Whole Health Education with an emphasis in nutrition. She also holds a degree in Psychology & Women's Studies, as well as certifications in yoga and massage therapy.
