Please join us for an introduction to craft beer, including history, beer ingredients and exploration of craft beer styles and how they were developed with Brian Golden. We will also discuss how to taste, pour and present beer which will allow you to better integrate beer with food.
The class will include an interactive tasting and pairing of four common beer styles that will be tasted with common food ingredients.
Brian is the Director of Education and On-Premise Beer Manager for Hayden Beverage. He has received the highly regarded Certified Cicerone, BJCP Certified Beer Judge and MBAA Beer Steward accreditations, and has taught numerous classes in both beer and wine for groups throughout the state. He believes there is an occasion for every beer, and that any time is a good time to start learning.
