Weekend Wine Tasting @ the North End Boise Co-op Wine Shop

Bill Blosser and Susan Sokol Blosser planted their first vines in 1971, back when there wasn't really any wine industry in Oregon. Fast forward to today with over 500 wineries and more than 19,000 acres of vineyards, Oregon wines are available throughout the world. Through it all, Sokol Blosser has survived, grown and prospered as a family-owned and run operation, and today, a second generation is at the helm. From the beginning, they strived to be good stewards of the land, practicing sustainable farming. They were also the first US winery to receive Leed Certification and are a Certified B Corporation. If you don't know what that means, ask Sokol Blosser's Lee Medina. He'll be in the Wine Shop on Friday to offer tastes of their wines, with the focus on their Evolution brand. And, if you can't make it then, we'll have the wines available for tasting on Saturday, as well. Here's the line-up:

  • Sokol Blosser Rosé
  • Evolution Sparkling
  • Evolution White
  • Evolution Red
  • Evolution Pinot Noir

May 4 is the Co-op's big First Friday Sale, but all five wines will be 15% off both days of the tasting.
