Proletariat Wine Company
At the North End Boise Co-op Wine Shop
Scott Burum from Proletariat Wine Company will be on hand to offer samples of their wine. Founded in Walla Walla, Washington in 2011, Proletariat is one of that state's first 'keg only' wineries. Made with grapes grown and produced in some of the Northwest's top AVAs, the 5.16 gallon stainless steel kegs are filled on demand, then shipped to market the next day. This not only means no waste and less spoilage, but it also means they are taking less of a toll on the environment: Less fuel emissions and no glass or corks heading to the landfill. It's a greener alternative to the typical bottle or box. Here's what Scott will be pouring:
- 2015 Pinot Gris
- 2015 Reserve Chardonnay
- 2014 GSM
- 2014 Malbec
Stop by for a taste. Our refillable growlers will be on sale that day for just $2.49, half off the regular $4.99 price.
